Never preserved your own food before? Classes and demos are offered each month during the busy canning season to help you get familiar with the ease of water bath canning, pressure cooker canning, food dehydrating and steam juicing to make your own juice and jelly.
- Classes are hands-on and include all equipment and instructions.
- Classes are open to anyone. Bring your friends!
- Registration fee is $10 per class.
- You will go home with something from the canning kitchen.
- Classes are held at the Swap n Play Kitchen, 7535 N Chicago St.

November 19, from 9:30-11:30am
Cranberry Sauce – Taught by Andrea Marks. This hands-on class will teach you the techniques of cranberry sauce making as well as a basic recipe. Also, you will learn how to use a water bath canner and all participants will leave with a small jar of cranberry sauce.

**Classes must have a minimum of 4 students signed up. If less than 4 are signed up 24 hours before class time, it will be cancelled. Participants will be notified via email.
